Stone174 is the conversion story of a Stone Blue VW T5 Transporter 174. In early 2009 we parted company with both a T3 camper and a 2007 Polo to fund the T5 which, for a while, would be our only vehicle.
From humble panel van to fully equipped camper, this blog will show the various processes, tips and tricks to other DIY converters and VW fans.
The plan is that the van is 'ready-to-go' straight from work on a Friday evening to enjoy a couple of nights in comfort anywhere in the UK.
Two, week-long holidays are also taken every year and a European trip is planned in the not too distant future.
